In the beginning the damage was severe.The fire had destroyed everything.Thank God no one lost their life.However, most everything else was destroyed.People lost everything they owned.As you can see the fire took it all.In places it was taken down to the brick.Then the long process of cleanup began.Many dumpsters full of debris had to be hauled away.Even part of the roof was destroyed.Then the slow painful process of rebuilding begins.With the roof repaired, work on the inside could begin.Cleanup was done and construction begins.New doors are installed.New windows are now in place.New walls are built.New appliances.New furnaces.New plumbing and electrical.Sheet rock is installed and painting beginsNew carpet is installed.New light fixtures.Slowly everthing starts coming together.New appliances are put in place.A new feature is a microwave oven with built in vent above the cook stove.New countertops.New cabinetry.New tile is installed in the bathroom and kitchen.New fixtures are installed and just like the mythical Phoenix, Acosta Oaks has risen from the ashes.
